Dr. Fitzsimmons grew up in Connecticut as the third of eleven children. He graduated with a BS from the University of Dayton in 1976 and received his dental degree from the Ohio State University in 1980. He is a lifelong member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, and the WD Miller Dental Association, where he served as past president. He is actively involved in his community, serving in various leadership roles at local schools and churches, and enjoys running a family cattle farm.
